A variety of "stay home" things such as remote discussion and class are increasing.
There are some is OK , but some is not so satisfied.
but I think there are some things I can do because it's online.
so I tried to "Online Exhibition" on my HP.
Usually you see artwork at exhibitions are it's like only good parts of finished artworks.
Of course, that is the ART, and we put everything in there.
But we always think about how I can shape it that I thought things.
What kind of material and what procedure……
So I recorded almost whole process of that production.
and I made it a project to see it as a work including that.
If you see the my artwork after seeing the whole process.
I think you can enjoy it more deeply.
So please enjoy it. It’s Title “行”.

https://uetahiroshi.kyo2.jp/e553410.html
I told you that calligraphy is a 3D representation.
so, I try to that the black SUMI ink is adjusted to see how it can be expressed.
The ink penetrates down into the paper and then spreads out sideways.
If you observe the bleeds of ink well, you can see that it is inside the paper, not the surface. Then, I mixed the coarse particles ink that stay on the paper and the fine particles ink that penetrate inside,I thought that way would be possible to express it, and used ink like this.
This is called "KEZURIZUMI (shaved ink)". Burrs created when ink is put in a wooden mold to form, Ink that has been shaved off with a plane(KANNA). Originally it used to write lanterns(CHOCHIN) and Kabuki's MANEKI using this kind of ink. This time I got KEZURIZUMI, which is originally the finest ink. and then finely crush this with mortar.
By doing this, rough ink and fine particles ink can be mixed.

Calligraphy has a depth below the paper.
Even when writing dots, the brush is sunk as if sticking into the paper from the tip of the brush. even writing just one line, we use the brush moving up and down.
There are things like the rule of brushwork"call HIPPOU" in this, but the remnants of carving letters on stones when there was no paper or ink yet I think that still in there,
And I think that the brush is a substitute for a sword for carving stones. It may be the reason why calligraphy was once called *JYUBOKUDO.
The breath is connected not only to the inside of the paper, also to the top (aerial space) of the paper. We say "don't stop feeling", "don't stop the flow". Brush strokes also exist between each lines, and the lines that form a character and the aerial space between them are connected too.
In ancient times, characters were using for sorcery and fortune. An ideographic character that has a meaning for each character has a strong meaning for an extra character. That's why I think heart or feeling couldn't stop stop in the middle of writing characters, it have to be connected.
anyway, we have long recognized that calligraphy are 3D objects with brush marks under and over of the paper.
*JYUBOKUDO- Writing "ink goes inside way" in KANJI
this is old story that the writing brush power of Wáng Xīzhī, which is said to be a Saint of calligraphy, is so strong that the ink on the tree infiltrated 9 mm.

work in progress of the artwork "行".
Stick 3 sheets of vintage GYOKUBAN-SEN paper on the wooden panel.
------------------------------------------------------
The “行” has a meaning such as "go, do, train, practice".
Where are we from now on? Where are you going? What to do?
People overcome this situation and we have to go to the future.
In the beautiful spring season, nature is in full bloom.
At first glance I don't know how it is different.
but we have to think, worry, lost way, excuse, had some mistakes, and find answers.
This is exactly the same as "GYO 行"(practice Buddhistic austerities)
Originally "行” is represents a crossroads.
Which road is right.
that right answer for who?
But the future is coming.
-------------------------------------------------------
this time I use vintage good quality paper with good SUMI ink color, but when ink is added to old paper, fiber lye or dirt comes out in the process of ink penetration.
There is a way to turn it off.
Usually, we write it before mounting it, so we put a piece of paper under the art piece paper in the mounting process.
and then you can transfer stains to the paper below by hitting plenty of water.
But this time I'll stick it on the panel before brush ink down.
so the dirt removal work will be done together first.
The bottom paper is "discarded paper" that absorbs dirt. (you can see that I peel it off when I stick it on the panel.)
Sprinkle plenty of water on top of this and stack 3 sheets of paper. Finally, mounting HADAURA paper.
Writing calligraphy means depth, carving word. that's why I put three sheets of thick paper put together. When I write down, the SUMI ink drops down into the paper, and then run sideways inside the paper. The thickness allows the depth to be expressed. it's not flat, its 3D inside paper story. It is also supposed that the depth of the black ink color that is visible can be expressed.
This much dirt was removed.

"Lady of GENJIMONOGATARI-UTSUSEMI" Hanging scroll 2013
When people think about"rain",they often have an image of the melancholy. Look at it from the farmer's perspective, however, and there are benefits as well as the potential for drought and flood. A sunshower can be refreshing, a monsoon devastating. Everyone has a different image, changing from your perspective. When we can see the subject from these different viewpoints we can begin to understand the true identity. Seeing "rain"from one vantage limits and warps our understanding. Like trying to see something from all sides, my works are a way to show people another facet of me in the meaning of words chosen and the forms they take.
”renmen" (Unbroken)2014
Calligraphy is not just writing words in a fancier manner, but an art form of meaning, lines and space. The hand remembers and learns to write a word through repetition. Repetition of the written form continuously refines and at times simplifies the composition. Perfect execution is unnatural (a perfect work can be pulled from a computer). Control of the brush, practice and experience all are integral, but a chance pause or unplanned line can play as much of a role in completion. My ideal is more recognized than developed, such that the viewer is attracted to more human as opposed to machine-made perfection.
"青山緑水是我家”Mountains green and fresh water is my home. Hanging scroll 2015
